Model Shoot - Lingerie

It's been a little while since I last posted anything on my blog. Since my last entry I did a model shoot that involved some single light flash work as well as some with light strips. This was also one of my first shoots that involved some artistic nude photography as well which I may post later. For now here are a few shots from that session.

Food Photography

I love to eat and always find the food magazine pictures so enticing they practically make your mouth water. At the recent wedding reception I was at I took some shots of the food and drinks. Here are the shots.

Wedding Shoot

This past weekend I helped out some friends on their wedding day and took some photos for them. It was some good practice and made me appreciate just how hard wedding photographers have to work. Some moments and shots you can plan but the spontaneous moments are the best. Here are some shots from that day.

Yaletown Grand Prix

Well last week on Canada Day in area of downtown Vancouver called Yaletown there was a slightly different event going on and that was the Yaletown Grand Prix. A perfect day for a bike ride but in the case of these participants it was a perfect day for bike race! Here are some shots.

Cannabis Day - July 1st

While other people across the city and across the country celebrated Canada Day on July 1st there was something a bit different going on outside of the Vancouver Art Gallery. Thousands gathered here on this day to celebrate Cannabis Day and pot growers, sellers, smokers and just people out to check it out had a great time. The crowd was entertained by live performances as well as some great vibes from the DJ. People watching was high on the list of entertainment as well. Here are some shots from that day. I even ran into one of my former instructors Syx Langemann from Vancouver Photo Workshops out taking pictures too.
