Sometimes it is all about being in the right place at the right time. I captured these two shots of the bride and groom sharing one of their first kisses as a married couple. I just happened to be sitting in the aisle when the couple was stopped by the real wedding photographer for a shot of them and I was just a few feet away. Not that I aspire to be a wedding photographer but I really enjoy capturing magical moments and I thought this opportunity with the sunlight coming in worked well.

Vancouver Zombie Walk
This past weekend a different and probably one of the strangest annual events happened in town. I wasn't planning on shooting this event but it more or less happened upon me by sheer coincidence. To see hundreds of walking dead in broad daylight on one of the nicest and hottest days of the year in Vancouver was truly a bit surreal. Here are a few shots that I did some work on in Photoshop to give them that "zombie" look.

Black and White
Lately I have been experimenting more with black and white post processing and realized just how interesting it can be. Often I find that an image that doesn't work well in color suddenly takes on a whole new look when it is viewed in black and white. This seems to be especially true on shots that might have been under or overexposed or where the color temperature just doesn't seem to be right. Below are my results after post processing some shots I took a few weeks ago.
